One of my "Gifts" that I have been blessed with is the ability to foretell the arrival of children through dreams. The dreams usually come about 1-3yrs in advance of the announcement of the pregnancy and I know the gender and what the child looks like when they are usually around 18 months. I always thought that these would be welcome events when I told everyone...but 9 times out of 10 they are not. When I started dreaming of a little girl playing on my patio with blonde hair and blue eyes it was 2003. We would be drawing with chalk and talking about all the pretty flowers in my yard. Then she would hold up her arms and say "Nana" and I would pick her up and cuddle her and kiss her and take her in the house. I told my ex husband about it and my children and they all laughed and rolled their eyes...."She's at it again. 18 months later when my step-daughter came to visit, I saw the child super-imposed over my step-daughter and knew who the mother was going to be. I was so excited to tell her that and she got very angry and asked me to please just shut up. When she got back home she called her father to let him know she had just found out she was pregnant, and not to let me know. She told me a couple of months later after I asked her how the pregnancy was progressing and asked her if she was still angry. She is still to this day convinced I had something to do with both her childrens arrival and told her father she was jealous that they came to me and told me before they came to her. I was crushed that she felt that way. She doesn't allow me to have any contact with them as I'm not their "real" grandmother. I have had those dreams about all my grandchildren and am still awaiting the arrival of another girl with dark hair and eyes. My oldest Son is worse...he wants me consigned to the darkest realms of hell because I'm a witch. He said I signed my own death warrant when I accepted these gifts and practised them...Oh Well! But their mother overrode his wishes and allows me contact with them and I just love it!
