It is definitely not all under our control but if someone throws you in the water, even if you can't swim, you will move to stay on top, if you don't do anything you will drown for sure.

Momentary stagnation or Monetary? Creative blocks, road blocks, and just plain all messed up. I hate it when life throws me a curve ball. I get all dressed up for the party. got all my stuff ready to do something amazing and then i have to re prioritize because i let some one else's choices impact o...

I think, sometimes, when your mind is quiet, you do eventually find a direction where you can be creative. Sometimes, it's good to let things come to you.

it can happen by no fault of our own,how we deal with it is our solution ,we pull on and away or stagnate and wallow, our choice can have effect on other peoples life ,we can even turn into their "it" maybe without even knowing

Yes we have to listen to your inner voice and when it whispers to us then do something about it. I just thought of this story where a guy believes in God and that he will save him from an approaching flood. The flood rises, he refuses to be evacuated and drowns. In heaven he asks God, why didn't you...

If you want something, then go out and get it! If you want something to change or shift, then put it into gear and move forward. Create the change by getting motivated. Nothing worth having was got by sitting still and having it handed to you.

the best part of moving to a new community is that NOBODY is calling at the moment and asking me to do anything. I am INVISIBLE for a change.. I am not a small town celebrity in this burg and it suits me fine. I wonder how long I will be able to stay under the radar and actually allow some of my ama...

It's true, if you want something to happen, you need to start it. But sometimes it's the timing of things; even when you try, things won't happen the way you hoped. So, that's when you surrender and let the Divine intervene.

I think people are too tried. Look at our rat race. we work harder and longer hours then any other country. When we get home, we have family and friends to face. If you have stress in your life it is really hard to be creative.
Any artist or writer will tell you, it is not easy. Talent means nothing...

I find that when I'm grounded and centered my mind is more open to create anything I want to achieve but when choas consumes I lose tract and I go into problem solving mode and I loose my creativity! Like Meriel I could become a hermit for sure!

one thing that helps me , is to be around other people who are also artist or creative people. It helps you to jog ideas , I invent 100 things before I write one down ;}
I shared this with my class.

My life has flow in it in all areas but financial. The financial aspect fluctuates between bare minimum and non-existent. I again pose the problem of the lottery. The lottery exists. What a great question! Yes I believe that once creativity is blocked or cut off we do get stagnant. That is why I try to be open to new ideas and activities. The more I learn the more creative I can be.
