Spirits visiting in dreams

I have had deceased family members in my dreams from time to time. I am wondering if that is because they visit and if they do, how do I get them to speak the truth rather than talk in code in order for me to understand the messag

Be very patient. Communication in dreams is often not quite the same as in daily life. Even so, it is possible to become quite good at 'decoding' them. I have seldom had totally normal straight-forward communication with passed relatives while in the dream state. It has usually been more symbolic, but often becomes clearer with time.

My mum passed away on the 20th April this year about 8 weeks ago and several times she has visited me in my dreams and last night she visited again. This time in my dream there was a man in the dream who I let into my house and mum was trying to tell me he stole $1,000 from her plus other things. What could this mean? What is the dream trying to tell me? Also when I have certain dreams I also see the nos 717 and get ringing in my ears

For me my dreams would tell a story, instead of seeing the obvious of what the story meant, I would have to dig deeper and read between the lines-- subliminal messages if you would. But often, spirits communicate as simple as possible, because they understand the communication barrier. If they dont just outright say it in laymans terms, its probably, because they're playing with you, or have faith that you could figure it out if you try, or simply because they just cant tell you so will hint at it

The code or symbolism of the dream is a higher form of communication and communicates much more that our accustomed way of talking.
Reflect on every aspect of the dream. First in the manifest content of the dream, what you remember. Write down every dimension of the dream you can remember (important to physically make manifest your dream). Document the scene; identify the people, the scenario, how they felt, what your feelings were…

Then reflect upon each part of you dream and identify what the symbolism brings forth to you. The reflections should eventually become multidimensional; bringing forth your past, present and anticipated life experiences. Experience at an emotional level all time dimensions to each symbol. The after sometime of reflection (it may take months, be patient) the total message can be understood.

The symbolism is then understood at an experiential level more than an intellectual one. An overwhelming emotional response may follow.
