signs of spirit?

for a while now i have seen sparks of gold light now and again,i think this maybe angels letting know they are around? i have found feathers before and get messages through songs or thoughts in my mind,what kind of experiences have other people had? please feel free to share with me.love and light marianne xx

When I am in a relaxed state (not necessarily in meditation) I see what I call spirit lights. I normally see them up at the ceiling (about 3 meters) and if I focus on them they come closer and grow in size. When they are around, I now put my hand out for them to say hello and a light energy seems to collect around my dominant Reiki hand. I also get pulsating purples and occasionally greens during Reiki healing sessions.

In the last 12 months, I am also seeing a "heat haze" type veil and although I know spirit is there I feel a bit frustrated that I cannot see it (Oh hello --- just got another revelation about my restaurant dream - see the dreams section on the website - lol). I would love to see my guide in person form, but I don't actually need to as I have no doubts they are there.

I personally just feel extremely humbled to have these experiences and to be able to share my thoughts with others who are going through the same.

When you get that hazy feeling, I don't know if you've tried this. Sit in front of a mirror (preferably in a room with the lights down a bit), then look through yourself. It's like looking at one of those 3D pictures. Then ask your spirit guide to come down and meet you.

Try it, if you haven't already. Your energy is raised, they bring theirs down to meet yours and you can see their face over yours. Don't get freaked out if you head starts to disappear before you see faces, it's just you stepping into a slightly different dimension.

Give it a go, It's brilliant and freaky all roled into one.

Ha, ha, ha...... I have been told that I'm not of this planet. Ha, ha, ha........ Maybe I'm not. I suppose I am a light worker, I get very excited when talking and helping people to make their connection to spirit. It is our destiny as a species.

The sitting in front of the mirror thing was told to me by my Reiki Master. I tried it, and was freaked out at first. Took me a while to get comfortable with it. I do have a habit of getting over excited when I see a face, then I lose it. You have to keep your energy on the right wavelength, not get over excited and lose all focus. We can only truly move forward when we are prepared to let go. It is part of being a channel, part of getting into the flow. Letting go....... Once you surrender to it, it comes......

spirits can take form of ANYTHING and can look like a black orb as most do. Only the ones who have gone through the light can take a white or golden color orb form. the higher you go as a spirit the more your color shows and you can show more of yourself (as a spirit). Normal spirits who havent gone through the light will most likely not show a silhouette because it uses a mass amount of energy to do.

hello, good thread Marianne....to Lisa, this reminds me of Dr. Raymond Moody's Psychomanteum, is that where you got the idea? I have thought about constructing his version of this before, have you read about it? I have had experiences with watching faces shapeshift into past lives and know you can use the mirror to see your own.

Hello Julie. I've not come accross Dr. Raymond Moody, but I will be looking into that thanks. I have had that spacey feeling, when you feel like you are drifting into another dimension, since I was a child, but it wasn't until a few years back that I understood and appreciated what was going on. I have also never used it for past lives (well I don't think I have, ha ha). Are you into past life regression?

I will often see sparks of light when open psychicaly. These are usualy silver or gold but recently ive seen a lot more gold. I know that spirit guides and angelic presences are close when this happens. Enjoy the experience and know you are being cared for!

So sorry not replied before, work has been a little crazy this past month or so and I have not had time to come on here. I have tried mirror gazing but did get a little freaked when I saw shadows forming around my face image..... but you have prompted me to give it another go. Thanks so much for your prompt.

Love your humour Mathew - but you are a very naughty person communing with spirit when you are 'half tanked' --- trouble is it gets tempting when you are 'half tanked' doesn't it (lol)!

Casey - thanks so much for sharing. Was not aware of the amount of energy needed to make a full human form but that makes sense. I just thought it was me who couldn't see them properly --- thought they always appeared a people etc.xx

I know the sparks you mean. I get them too but I just thought everyone got those lol. I'm new to this exploring my 'awakening' but the more things I read about other people's experiences the more I realise I took many of these for granted and that everyone saw things like this too. I also see what looks like someone there (more like a black figure) but when I turn to look they are gone. Do you get that too? Another thing is that I often see things in the distance when driving like once I thought I saw someone riding a horse but when I got close there was just nothing there. Always have never said anything and just assumed I should get my eyes vision re-checked hehe. xx
