My dreams .. Time for the nut house

Ever since i was a young girl my dreams have been borderline crazy (in my opinion anyway) As a wee young un i would have terrible nightmares and scream the house down and sleep walk to get away from the danger. As i got older i would incorporate my bedroom into my dreams so would be petrified of falling down a hole in the middle of my room so would walk by the walls to get out of this dangerous situation. Even a few nights ago although i was asleep i was moving the furniture because the ceiling was going to cave in, lol. I'm nuts, it's OK. Although the dream i had of the ariel view of the houses was positively awesome and the reoccurring dream of the black and white tiles in the large/tiny room needs to go away now.

Anyway the dream i wanted to mention happened a few weeks ago and as soon as i woke i wrote down the key points as it was weird.

I was in someones house and i was crying as he wanted to end the relationship (I didn't argue the case) so i packed up my stuff and went to put the hoover away but to find the plug i followed the lead outside and then some distance to where it was plugged in. Turns out it was plugged in under a door frame to a night club (yes, out in the open). Outside the club were some bikers and one man was smiling at me but i only wanted to get the plug/cord back in the house so i could leave. Hoover put away i got on a bus to come home and we passed a school called Poppies. The bus took us into the school and we ended up in the swimming pool. We weren't actually swimming but resting on the edge of the pool smoking (i was submerged to my waist)and chatting away. I did notice that a screen had been placed up behind the seating area of the pool so we couldn't see what was happening behind it. Then i woke up.

After i wrote this down i was only really pondering why the hoover was plugged in outside under the door way to a night club, lol.

Any ideas what this could mean?

Thank you in advance

i dont think your nuts,in your dream state things get muddled,as our minds try to make sense of information, when you said you could see roof tops you were astral traveling, where your spiritual body leaves, your own body for a while,i once dreamt than i was aruging with people and then i was eating newspapers!!the connection you had with the man could have maybe been a psychic one? i once had an dream when i had an connection with a lady and got the message[they wont go]i dont know who she was but the connection was very real, are there any things about your past you feel you need to adress?[schools, buses and swimming pools] do you ever have have premontions or pick up on things? everybody has gifts, for peaceful sleep ask the angels to help you to have a restful night and only recieve loving messages and guidance.hope this helps marianne x.sleepheartangel

i would take a guess, that your subconscious is telling you to get out and enjoy life

Hi to another weird dreamer. I've had some doozies too and my childhood was often made miserable because of them. Now I have come to a better understanding of many of them, the scary ones have pretty well stopped, thank goodness.
Not knowing you or anything of your background, let me just throw out some things, and you can decide if anything rings true. One of the first things I felt was insecurity, perhaps something you may not even be conscious of when awake. In your dreams, even your own house seems to be a threat.
In dream language, the house often represents yourself. (Not always mind you, sometimes it is just a house.) But ask yourself, do you sometimes feel that you can't trust yourself and the choices you make? Do you often have difficulty trusting your own decisions?
Another possibility that I wondered, was have you moved house several times in your life?
I have and some of my dreams reflected that sense of insecurity and instability of what we think of as home.
In the dream you have described in detail, it seems you have been in someone else's house and you have been trying to clean it, but your efforts were not appreciated. Do you find that you get involved with people with problems that you feel you need to help or solve for them? Does this sometimes backfire on you? Finding yourself outside a night club whilst trying to unplug (separate yourself from the situation) could be an indication that you secretly yearn to let your hair down and take a break from responsibility (depending on your own view of what a nightclub represents to you). Or did an unsatisfying attachment begin in a similar place? In which case, it could serve as a message to look elsewhere for the security you desire.

The swimming pool in which you mention being submerged to the waist: Water represents emotions.
Do you have a tendency to hold back emotionally? Is their a lurking fear that if you let go of the edge and fully take the emotional plunge that you will drown in your own emotions? A past hurt may be making it difficult to let go and trust yourself to go deeper. So you settle yourself where you can still feel safe.
A screen, a curtain or a closed door which you notice in a dream often indicates something that you do not wish to see or remember. It imposes into your dream as a reminder of unfinished emotional business that you will sooner or later need to deal with.

I do not think you are nuts or crazy, well, no more than me anyway. But you are very likely a sensitive, with strong imagination and probably quite creative as well. Explore these areas of yourself and try to make friends with your dreams. My interpretation may not sit right with you at all. That's ok, with further insight, you can always become the best interpreter of your own dreams. You just need to learn what symbolism your own subconscious (or sometimes higher conscious) uses to try to get its messages through.
I wish you sweet dreams.

Hi Sarah,
No idea about the plug and the nightclub, hey the subconcious life doesnt always make sense. But when you mention the black and white tiled floor, ive often dreamed of that same pattern floor. Im not sure, but i know that appears in many books legends and some movies. Most masonic lodges have the same floor. But the original idea comes from ancient faerylore. The castle where the sleeping princess is in a magical sleep, often describes the black and white floor. Hey not sure if it helps honey, but all i can come up with. big hugs x

You say you were in someone else's house but do not say if you knew the person however you did not argue about breaking up suggesting acceptance of the end to something-in this case, a relationship.
However, before you can leave you must take care of something and to do this you move outside what is familiar (?) your lover's home to another place. To determine how far outside your comfort zone you must go, you need to examine the images. The bikers, the nightclub. How are you affected? Here is one scenario:
A relationship or situation is coming to an end, however before you can cut ties completely you must leave your comfort zone and face something.
Your departure from the relationship or situation will involve a journey (the bus) in which you will learn something (school). The pool indicates a need for cleansing, perhaps you are thinking of giving up smoking and ending a relationship or situation will help you to do this. Chatting with others indicates you have something to say- or will soon be sharing something with others.

In Faith And Good Energy

First I believe the only TRUE dream interpreter is the dreamer. So what I share would be truer for me than you, if I had the dream.

Dreams of being underwater or threatened to be under water are common. Being under water represents aspects of your unconscious self, or your shadow side, in accord to Jungian Psychology.

Most meaningful dreams represent a projected symbolic representation of our conscious life. A monster or being scared in the dream world is our separated shadow side. The more terrifying the monster and/or feeling the more separated we are with our shadow self.

When I become one with the projected part of myself, I become intergraded with my projected shadow. Terrifying nightmares are no longer made manifest.

Your shadow can be seen during the day through our uncontrollable emotional outbursts. When we reflect upon why we responded in such a way (it may take months of reflection) we become aware of unexpressed aspects of our own personality.

Ideas to entertain for self interpretation:
in someones house, crying, he wanted to end the relationship (I didn't argue the case)
Accepted Rejection, did not express how you felt or take a stand
Do you feel at home with yourself? – or a stranger in your own skin?
packed up my stuff and went to put the hoover away
Being dumped, owed this man nothing but felt a sense of duty
Still felt a need to do something mundane for him
but to find the plug
looking for another source or option?
i followed the lead outside and then some distance to where it was plugged in.

The cord leading you away was giving you another choice
It led you to another door way perhaps to say” When one door closes, another opens”
l
it was plugged in under a door frame to a night club
- an opportunity for perhaps fun or excitement ?

Outside the club were some bikers
– possibility of wilder, adventurous openness ?
one man was smiling at me but i only wanted to get the plug/cord back in the house so i could leave.
Overlooking and discounting someone who admired and appreciated you
Rejecting Self-love
One track mind about some sense of duty - bypassed the spontaneity and opportunity
Is your life too much about duty ? Will you let yourself be spontaneous and have fun?
Hoover put away (You may reject me, but I keep my obligations ?)

i got on a bus to come home and we passed a school called Poppies.
Bus – There are others in the same boat – you are not alone in your pain. (People on a bus are going the same direction you are, feeling the same things with similar viewpoints. Look around and see if a fellow traveler peaks your interest. Be alert to people in your environment you might be missing that share a common direction, even if it’s something mundane.
Ancient Egyptian doctors would have their patients eat seeds from a poppy to relieve pain. Poppy seeds contain both morphine and codeine, which are pain-relieving drugs.

This was a school that had something to do with releasing pain.
Water is your emotions - emotional pain – water a healer
The best way to heal your emotions is to go deeply into them, feel them intensely to release them but you only went in waist deep.

I did notice that a screen had been placed up behind the seating area of the pool so we couldn't see what was happening behind it.
Are blocked emotions preventing you from a better vision?

Hi Sarah,

I stumbled upon a set of questions that not only tell you what your dream means, they give you your options on how to handle the situation revealed. If you answer the last question honestly, it's the best way at this present time that you as a soul, a person can handle the situation. Once the message of your dream has been understood by you, you will find it will stop your recurring dreams.

Here are the questions. Just write/type them and write/type your answer below. Then read through your answers and all will hopefully be revealed.

1. What are the main points of the dream?

2. What details seem significant? Why?

3. What is a one-sentence title for this dream?

4. What is a one word title for this dream?

5. What happens in the beginning?

6. What actions are taken?

7. Who is in the dream?

8. If the people in the dream were parts of yourself, what would they be telling you?

9. What is the overall tone of the dream?

10. How does this dream compare to your life right now?

11. What is the dream telling you about your life that you may be overlooking?

12. What is the outcome of the dream?

13. If you were to live the dream in real life what would you do differently?
