The Power of Spiritual Leadership

With so much competition in the marketplace today, it’s more important than ever that a business strives to utilise every resource available to obtain that often elusive edge. Sadly, increased competition often sees businesses cutting corners and adopting some less than scrupulous practises to remain afloat. This not only impacts the customer service standards, but also adversely affects workplace harmony.

One thing is for certain: No matter what line of business you're in, you need to project an image of honesty and integrity so that customers will want to place their business with you and other corporations will wish to align their brands with your own. You must practise a system of integrity which aligns your business model with your desire to make a good and lasting impression. When this becomes an everyday practise, workplace harmony will increase and suddenly your company will become a place where people want to work. Good news (like bad) spreads like wildfire.

So many businesses will tell you how honest, efficient, effective and customer focused they are. They have no problem shouting it in the media and to anyone who will listen. Often, they're found to be just hollow words and the image the company wishes to project can be light years away from the facts.

Integrity must begin at the top but can never remain there. When instigated properly, it becomes like a virus which spreads through the company. At every turn it is encouraged, supported and rewarded.

Spiritual leadership is system of honesty into a business. Once it is adopted and instigated in all aspects of management, it will invariably permeate throughout the entire company and make its way into the personal lives of those who openly and fully embrace the principles.

There are important steps to take and hurdles to overcome before the principles can become a stable platform upon which your company might build a powerful presence. From this it can grow and evolve.

Spiritual Leadership is a system of management where honesty, integrity, compassion and generosity are embraced by all employees and actively instigated at all levels. It encourages assistance to others and rewards hard work, input and commitment.

What are your views on Spiritual Leadership? Is it a viable alternative in today’s cut and thrust business world? Does it have a place in business or is it a waste of valuable time? Is it already present in some companies? Can a business survive without it? Is it something which you believe could assist a business to flourish? What are the aspects of honest and compassionate leadership you believe might assist a business to thrive?

Enjoy your week and thanks for your input. I wish you many blessings and countless opportunities throughout the hear ahead.
