Good morning friends! Hope everyone is ready for the Blue Moon tonight. I’m still not quite sure why it’s called this except for the fact of how rare it happens. I would love to hear any input that anyone has in a separate thread as to what this really means. But let’s get into the reading for now. We’re going to hear from the Shaman Wisdom cards today. And the reading couldn’t be timelier!

Sage – “Masculine, south, Jupiter, Air – I am Sage. I am Sacred. I am here to clear the air, to remove negativity and to offer you protection. Watch your health and re-establish your connection with the earth. Meditation is the timeless wisdom of the Sage. If you are out of balance or under stress, utilize my healing properties. Communication skills are important, whether you are giving or receiving. I am the sacred smoke. I am smudge.”

There are many instances in communication where something is misunderstood or misheard. One of the reasons that Sage is so important right now is it teaches us to clear the air. If we are not hearing one another in a communication, then it is highly likely that one or both (or more) are ungrounded and a bit out of balance. We truly need to take a moment in these times and pause the conversation in whatever form it is in and come back to our center.

Sage medicine is quite important, just as any grounding medicine. Whatever the course you choose to take to find your ground, this is what is most important. It can be done through smudging, meditation, breathing, or just simply sitting on the porch watching the sun set or sun rise. Many people do not care for the scent of sage, so find incense that does appeal to you if you would like to smudge. It is the cleansing of the smoke, the symbol of air that is important. Many cultures use smoke to remove negative energies from the surface of our bodies and spirits. It can be very effective to help us to get in a mindset that can bring us to a grounded state.

You can also use imagery in meditation or breathing. Imagining the oak tree is very effective. Rooting into the ground, using Mother Earth’s energy and nourishment to grow, and Father Sky’s divine energy to keep us connected and aligned. Allowing these energies to flow through and back creates a heartbeat at our core that lets us know we are connected to both. This is usually very subtle and doesn’t have any remarkable changes, but if you find a sense of calm through this type of exercise then you will definitely feel something.

With all the changes that are going on in our personal worlds, it is so important to listen to the medicine that Sage is offering. Not to create fear, panic, or depression, but there are changes that could be coming that will affect us in a very mental way. The spirits are being very quiet and enigmatic about what these changes are. The only thing that definitively continues to come through is to find a way to stay balanced, allow for unconditional love, and move towards awakening the higher Self. There is so much work that we all, as individuals, still need to do for ourselves. There is also so much work that we, as a planetary family, still need to do for the earth we walk on. We also have much work to do in communicating love, understanding, patience, acceptance, diversity, and grace. We all need to learn accountability for our actions. We all need to take responsibility for our decisions. We all need to realize that we are accountable for our emotions, and not the person who we blame to cause them.

That last bit may seem randomly put, but it is important. This is one of the problems in our communications. We get our feelers hurt by people when they mock, put us down, correct us, or attempt to explain things. Many times in arguments, there will be heated words that fly. When these words of hurt, fear, and anger come out, stop the conversation. Walk away from it. Find your balance, your ground again, and then return to the conversation. The questions can be asked during the pause can range from “Are they truly upset with me,” to “That was uncalled for, but do I have to get bent out of shape because of it?”

We are responsible for how we feel. Not the person you’re speaking with. Not the person who hurt you physically, mentally, spiritually. Not the people who put you into a situation that scarred you for life. The time is now to hold yourself accountable for the ways you feel. Only you can let those feelings go. You don’t forget, but you can let go. This message has come up time and again in these posts, but it is no less important now as it was the first time it was mentioned.

Science is showing us that the world is going through a phase in its existence of healing. As the earth is healing itself, her children are also being called to heal themselves. It’s going to be a roller coaster ride once things get moving, but it will be survivable. Are we going to be a part of the fear-based, hysterical people running around in complete panic or terror? Or are we going to sit back, watch, and enjoy the ride?

Sage has had some interesting information in his message today. One last thing before we close, however. He mentioned good health. Yes, this is important to all of us. Eating right, exercising, meditating, and loving are all ways to attain this. Eating right means trying to stay away from the processed foods as much as possible, removing as many GMO’s (genetically modified organisms) from our diets as we can. Watch for gluten, msg’s, aspartame and many other chemical additives the food companies add to ‘preserve’ the food or make it taste better. If you’ve never eaten organic or whole foods, you can’t appreciate the difference they make in your life. Yes, they are more expensive, but totally worth it. It is really frustrating at times that it may feel you have to give up the amount you eat because of the cost, but whole foods fill you up faster than the processed ones. And this is truth.

This could go on for several more pages about food and nutrition, but we’re going to stop there and focus on the rest of the body. Get up and move! Find an exercise mild or intense that gets your body moving. Keep the blood flow going, keep the heart pumping, and increase your metabolism. This does so much for us. Breathing properly helps to prevent cancer in the lymphatic system because it pumps them clean. Meditation can help to clear the mind, and opening the heart can clear out the hurt. Whatever form of “smudging” you choose to do for yourself, make the choice. It is so invaluably worth it. Love yourself, balance yourself, learn to listen from the heart and not pride, and truly…TRULY…get back to life and living!

it is always a pleasure! It's also a blessing to have the words come through. Hopefully we'll all be able to step aside of ourselves and just let spirit live through us. Wouldn't that be an utter joy?!
