What Is YOUR Excuse?

I wrote this blog early this morning to my FB family and now I wanted to share it all with you.....
Enjoyheart

It is so easy to blame other people for the problems that are happening in the world. We blame our parents, our politicians, the economy...or what ever the excuse may be.
One can only blame other people and circumstances for too long without looking at the real source of our problems...it starts with us.
A wise friend of mine (Staci Maria Housum) told me some very enlightening words...."You can not help the animals or anything else until you help people." What did she mean by that?
It was an 'AHA' moment for me. It started me to exam my own behavior and actions of how I was contributing to the world around me. I started making decisions that I felt would make a difference such as using canvas bags when I went shopping. I try to buy no 'animal testing' or 'green' products. I try to shop more local establishments where it helps our local businesses....these are just a few samples of what you can do.
The power of 1 can make a big difference. It sets the example for others and for your children as well. Not only that, you will feel good that you are making a difference in your neck of the world which in turn ripples onward......
So...what is 'YOUR' excuse?
