Mother Earth i do thank Thee

Nature such a blessed precious gift of awe and wonder

Mother Earth is her given name, on this we should ponder

In grace and beauty does she provide all that’s needed to survive

Selflessly does she give all that moves, all that is totally alive

Life in bounty she does desire, for you and all that move upon her

She asks for nothing in return, except that in all we give honor

She takes us to comfort in the shade of the mighty oak that she made

To the sea, its power and might, she calms the waves for you to wade

In the waterfall may you gaze, release your worries, your mind a maze

In the birdsong she orchestrates, to lift your eyes to seek and gaze

On the mountain she implores to let your soul free to rise and soar

In a forest of calm and peace, she wills your mind to find and explore

In her meadows of flowers and hay, in her lap your head she does lay

Place your ear upon her; hear her heart beating for eternity I so pray

On my knees I will be, giving thanks for all that I feel, hear and see

Mother Earth I thank you for all that is, if not for you we wouldn’t be

I don't think they will ever be able to totally destroy the mountains and the oceans but those that dwell within and on will suffer, because we cannot just let things be.

sometimes the best thing man can do for nature , is let it alone. People forget , we have all this room, the small things and four legged things are being pushed back into smaller and smaller space. They feel stress too.
