One of the most important steps of letting go of engraved hurtful feelings towards the person or a certain life experience is forgiveness. You may feel as if though this step is impossible at the moment because of the built up pain in your heart. However taking that first step would be saying it out loud to yourself (I forgive you or I forgive myself for this and this..) would make your soul resonate with your conscious thinking. The soul as the Universe is loving and kind and pure and it is because of all the built up hurts and emotions it may be in pain and dragging the pain into your life preventing you from achieving the things desired.
Forgiveness begins with desire to no longer be attached to those feelings of hurt and to move on. Start by doing bedtime affirmations of love towards the person or towards yourself...whichever it is you desire to forgive. As you lay in bed affirm " I forgive myself for (such and such). I now allow myself to let go and erase the negative imprints from ( such and such) and I allow the light of love and happiness to fill me up and replace the feeling of hurt and hate, for my highest good, so be it!... Visualize feeling yourself lighter and no longer consumed by pain. - this does not have to be said as I just stated it...find your own affirmations to deliver you to the highest level of happiness that resonates with you!
Repeat this every day and it will soon sink into your subconscious leaving your old emotions - completely one....
