It might take some effort and a little time but ATMs that are located in a safe place are available. You simply need to know how to screen them for your own personal security. Tips on screening ATM locations can be found in my next post.
Begin by seeking out a list of where your bank's ATM’s are placed. Unless you have a large chunck of time to visit each one and check them out you'll probably want to keep the list in your car or hand bag so you can refer to it when you're out and about. Check each one out in your daily travels to see just how safe each one is.

Once you determine which ones are the safest, you might need change where you normally go for it's convenience and decide to go a little further for a safer one. Remember it will be worth it, especially for those times when you need to have to make a deposit or withdrawl when the majority of attack occur which is between <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:time Hour="19" Minute="0">7 PM</st1:time> and <st1:time Hour="4" Minute="0">4 AM</st1:time>. <o:p></o:p>

If the ATM’s that is more convenient to your home but risky, you can still use it during the day light or if you have a someone you trust with you.
Whether you're alone or have a friend along, make sure you take your stun gun. One that looks like a cell phone (pictured below) will never raise suspicion to thouse around you. Hopefully you won't need it but you never know when you will.
